I've never heard this before, but it does jibe with other things that I've heard. Is this news to anyone besides me?

I have heard of this. I know a guy who is of Irish descent that claims to have African ancestors.

Interesting. I have always heard about the "black Irish" (those that have olive skin and dark hair)...but this is the first that I have heard about the African connection. Thank you for the information!

Ok Robert obviously forgot to take is meds today...but like someone said everyone has african ancestry, but the question is how recent is it? Thanks for the article link, I'm going to save it and read tonight.

According to anthropologists, everyone has African roots if you go back far enough. Man first evolved in Africa.
