I heard it was a rumor, not not really sure.

What is with the recent spree of questions related to Walt Disney being frozen? I've answered this question at least five times in the past couple days.

Walt Disney was not frozen. It was an urban legend that his body was frozen to be brought back to life if a cure for his illness was ever found. He had lung cancer, his body was already deteriorating, and he'd suffered cardiac arrest. There'd just be no way to bring him back, even if they found a cure for lung cancer as the myth goes. Another thing that people don't think about is how much damage is caused to a body when it's frozen. When ice crystals form, it's basically like shards of glass, and it causes irreperable damage. There certainly wouldn't be a way to bring someone back to life after that. Anyway, his body was cremated and his ashes were buried at the Forest Lawn Cemetary in Glendale, California.

Hope I could help!

That is actually not true. People associate cryonic preservation as an indulgence of the wealthy. From that came the myth of Walt Disney being frozen. Actually, he was a smoker and died of lung cancer and cardiac arrest. His family had him cremated.

No, he’s not frozen in ice. It’s carbonite, and he’s waiting for the right Disney Princess to come and kiss him and release him…!

No he is not. It is what you say a "rumor". That method wasn't even available when he died.
