If you're a "smart fan" you know what I mean by that term. I was just watching SD, and they said that Helms has had the Cruiserweight title for over a year. I'm not questioning that, bc I know it to be true. What I am asking is do you think that Helms being cruiserweight champ for over a year is a credit to him, or do you think that it is just bc WWE doesn't have anyone in the division for him to feud with?

I thought that he and Matt Hardy had a pretty good feud going last fall. I'm kind of pissed that they didn't follow through and have Greg drop the title.

Personally, I think it has alot to do with the fact that while Helms is a cruiserweight his moves aren't as high risk and cruiserweight-like as the other cruiserweights. The reason this could be a difference is because Vince has made it clear that he doesn't like high risk moves because there is a better chance someone will get injured and that would prevent him from having the wrestler on the road the entire year (which is the reason why AJ Styles refuses to go to the WWE) so the match is more boring, but Helms fits the bill of a cruiserweight in Vince's mind because (like I said before) Helms doesn't do alot of high risk moves and relies more on power moves and other moves to win (and Vince loves when wrestlers use power moves) and that is why Helms has held the Cruiserweight Title for so long. Don't get me wrong, Helms is a great wrestler, but Paul London (if you want to see how good he really is see his matches with people like AJ Styles in ROH) and Brian Kendrick could easily hold it as well. I hope that answers your question.

Well look at the depleted cruiserweight division. Super Crazy and Scotty 2 Hotty are on RAW now. WTF? Are they seriously going to do anything there? 2 of the best cruiserweights are stuck in the tag division (not that it's a bad thing but it proves my point.) Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero have sort of "outgrown" the Cruiserweight Title, so to speak. The only other contenders I see for the title are Jimmy Wang Yang, Mike Mizanin, and Little Bastard. I have a feeling that Gregory Helms is going to be holding on to that title throughout 2007 as well. I don't have a problem with it though. I think Helms is very worthy of the title he's been given.

There has been one viable contender for that championship throughout the course of the last year, and that's Akio (I refuse to call him by that retarded gimmick name). Helms had a nice feud with Matt Hardy, which didn't even qualify as a Cruiserweight feud. So, yep, the Cruiserweight division is pretty much dead. Also, I think they really want to emphasise the point that Helms beat Tajiri's streak, what with Tajiri having left the company and all.

alright... I think he is getting credited and No its not because there is No1 in the Crusierwieght division to Fued with because we all know that Teddy Long could have moved London or Kendrick over to the CW division to feud with Helms... But I would like to see a good well rostered CW division in the Near future.

The talent pool in WWE is anemic right now, and has been for some time. I'm glad he lost to Daivari so maybe it is time for the title change. I think Helms is great but the title run was mostly due to lack of talented wrestlers.

I think it's because WWE doesn't have anyone in the division for him to feud with all though Matt Hardy would be a great choice

I believe the only reason he has it is because there's no competition for him in the cruiserweight division. In my opinion, he's a good wrestler, but many other guys out there could easily beat him.

WWE has basically destroyed the cruiserweight title,he has lost so many non-title matches that the title basically means nothing.

WWE doesn't have anyone in the division for him to feud with. When him and Matt Hardy had beef, their feud didn't last long. Plus, they probably have him fight the weak wrestlers.
