I sell Mary Kay and love it. I have used the products for years, so I really believe in what I am selling. I am not the 'sales' type, so I was scared at first. But, when people find out I sell it, they come to me.
yes, I have heard all the negative comments about selling it, but if you are dedicated, you will do well. It is not a pyramid and not a multi-level marketing business. You DO NOT have to have any inventory and there are no quotas. Some directors are pushier than others, though, and they will impact your experience with MK. I suggest doing a conf. call with a director to get a feel for their personality before you sign up with that person.
If you don't know one, please email me. I have lots of info that I can send you and can set you up on a conf. call for the extra information.
This business has been the best thing that has ever happened to me and I know that just because people have not done well at it doesn't mean it isn't a good business. Getting the extra information and doing research is very important, but don't let negative people bring you down.
Good luck!

The home based business is a very great way to earn an extra or a full time income ,but its like any other work on earth ,you need to learn the language of the market and the most important thing you must know is MARKETING ,cause your income will depend on how much you can market your business and every thing in there are based on advertising and you talents and skills to do that .
There is a huge market in there and a huge of opportunities ,and you must know that its a competitive market and only the true marketer survive in there and became a millionaire .
Another thing you must know that its a market where 99% of the people who work in there DON'T KNOW HOW TO MARKET and that's what makes the marketers millionaires .
So if you are eligible to do that you can join my team in a great company that will gives two types of business in one company and that is the retail business which will make you a lots of money to start your advertising campaigns and more ,and the MLM (Multi Level Marketing ) that will give you the residual income for life and all that depends on how much serious is you about making money on line .

One of the greatest problems in asking a question like that in this environment is being sure that the businesses suggested are genuine. I will admit I don't know Mary Kay but I imagine that it involves getting sales of products from people.
Now the ideal home based business should be one which supplies a service which people are using anyway, thus providing a guaranteed spend.
There is one business like this and it has recently been endorsed by the billionaire Donald Trump for its ethics, honesty and integrity, in fact he describes it as probably the best opportunity in the world today. If you take a look at this web site www.iolair.acnrep.com you will see an overview of this business, be sure to click on your country flag at the bottom of the page.

First off, explore what you like to do? Do you enjoy makeup? Do you enjoy talking with people? Do you like recruiting? Are you creative? How much time do you have for the home based business because no matter what people say, to make true money, you have to work at it. I have a home based business and I was told it was easy work. Nothing worth anything is easy! One of the first things I do, is not look at as as work. I am helping others with a service and some I help make money. That is what I do. With that perspective, I earn. Just do the thing that you like and you will be successful.

YOUR TRAVEL BIZ (YTB)
YTB is an opportunity for any household to start a home-based internet travel business. The best part about it is that YTB does most of the work. All you have to do is refer your clients to your web-site and YTB already has vacation packages or individual tickets/rentals available at the click of a mouse. YTB also allows you to get others involved in their own web-sites and you can create "power teams" of Referring Travel Agents to work with you. The more RTA's you have, the higher your bonuses.
TRAVEL SITE
From your web site, your customers can book travel, buy travel insurance, order flowers, sign up for a weekly e-mail with specials, and more. The prices are comparable, or sometimes better than, to the travel booking engines you see on TV (ie. priceline, travelocity, etc.) All you have to do is send your customer to your site, and you get 60%+ of the commissions. For a detailed on-line video of this portion of YTB use this link:
www.apassion4travel.com
Marketing SITE
With YTB you also get a marketing site. With this program your can tell others about the company and enroll family and friends. You get bonuses depending on how many active RTA's you have under you. The more RTA's you have, the bigger the bonuses will be. In this program you have the opportunity to become a Director with YTB. As a Director, you get health and life insurance, $2000/ month guaranteed salary, and more.
YTB enables any family to supplement their income simply by telling people about their site. The amount of income depends on how much time you are willing to put into your new business. It could range from a few bucks a month to an income you can live off of. It all depends on you. YTB allows you sign up in two different ways. You can enroll and get both the internet travel site and the marketing site, or you can sign up for only the marketing portion of YTB.
For more information on anything not covered here go to :
www.apassion4travel.com
This will take you to the YTB site where you can review the compensation plan, go over stock prices, view the company presentation, or to find out how to join YTB.

You should DEFINITELY check out TreasureTrooper at http://www.treasuretrooper.com/226297. It's a pay-per-survey type website. You also get pay-per-signup, pay-for-shopping, and paid for contests. There are a couple of really great things that SET THIS SITE APART from other sites like it:
• It has a fun Indiana Jones-like theme. Each offer you complete gets you a gold coin. You can use these coins at Mabutu's Trading Hut to "buy" pieces of a treasure map, parts of a journal, or a secret to help you on your treasure quests for REAL MONEY.
• You go on treasure hunts for real cash and prizes. Current treasure hunt is for the lost statue of the Mambiko tribe and is worth $100 in real money to anybody who finds it. There is no limit to the amount of people that can find this treasure! There are also contests, such as dressing up as one of the Treasure Trooper characters. You get $15 per character.
• Most importantly, YOU CAN GET REFFERALS WITHOUT EVER TRYING TO GET REFERRALS!! This one is really exciting for me, because I have never been one to try and convince someone (much less a stranger) to join anything. But now I don't have to! You can BUY referrals with pearls. The way it works is every offer you complete gets you a 1-in-3 chance at a pearl. (I've been averaging about half my offers.) Eight pearls will buy you a "Pearl Friendship Bracelet" at Mabutu's Trading Hut. With the bracelet, the next 2 unreferred members to sign up will automatically become your referrals! You get 20% from your first level referrals and 5% from your second level.
That's HUGE! Everyone who has done any research into the pay-per-survey/click/offer scene knows that the REAL money… the "Replace Your Income" money… comes from referrals. Originally I was just going to do surveys and offers and such and hope to make a few hundred dollars a month. Now that I found this site, though, I can really look forward to some REAL IMCOME!!!

Mary Kay is good, if you like makeup. Part of your success in any home business depends upon your passion for the product or service you are representing. I recommend that you identify your interests first, then look for companies that meet your criteria. The company should be in good standing, preferably in business for a year or more, and have tangible, consumable products or services that people typically use on a regular basis -- you want to be able to fill a want or need that has sufficient demand.

We are not allowed to post any links here. However, I have a home based business and it involves an amazing product. At this time and age, everybody is concerned about wellness and anti aging. A business in health and wellness is one of the best businesses to be in. If you are motivated, you could be earning more money than you ever have earned. All you need is the desire to succeed and follow the proven system.

I research Mary Kay and was impressed with what I found out. I come from a financial background. It is a solid company and one of the highest paying direct sales companies out there.
