My sister had a terrible problem with endometriosis and adenomyosis and they'd given up on trying to get pregnant. Next thing they knew she was pregnant. She ended up with a second pregnancy within a year after giving birth to their first son.
They use to say that if you wanted a 2nd child you needed to get pregnant immediately after giving birth to one because the hormones in the pregnancy assisted in shrinking the endometrial tissue and chances were better to concieve.
I believe they can try to cut away the tissue to make it easier to concieve or they may be able to A.I.

Regardless... there are also a TON of children that need a mother and father out there. Adoption is GREAT!!

Adenomyosis is a medical condition characterized by the presence of ectopic endometrial tissue (the inner lining of the uterus) within the myometrium (the thick, muscular layer of the uterus).

The condition is typically found in women in the ages between 35 and 50. Patients with adenomyosis can have painful and/or profuse menses (dysmenorrhea & menorrhagia, respectively).

Adenomyosis may involve the uterus focally, creating an adenomyoma, or diffusely. With diffuse involvement, the uterus becomes bulky and heavier

My girlfriend had it really bad and ttc for 3 years with no luck. It turned out that after three years she started with ovulation kits and she ovulated at a different time than she had thought! The next month she was pregnant! Keep trying!

My sister-in-law had that, and she miscarried a few times, then finally got pregnant, and then got pregnant again pretty soon after. After her two boys, it seemed to go away and she isn't bothered by it anymore. There is hope and I wish you and your hubby the BEST of luck and my prayers are with you Hun.
