photo means light, and synthesis is just synthesis. It means using light to synthesize something.

Basically, photosynthesis occurs in plant and algae cells. It uses light to make food. It takes Carbon dioxide and Water, along with light energy, and forms Glucose (which is their food) and oxygen.

the equation is:
6H20+6CO2 + Light ==> C6H12O6 (glucose) + 6O2

Parasympathetic is one of the three divisions of the autonomous nervous system, which controls the circulatory, digestive, and respiratory systems. The parasympathetic system is conserves energy in the body by lowering the heart rate, and increases digestive gland activity in the intestines. It is basically the opposite of the sympathetic system.

Photosynthesis (photo=light, synthesis=putting together), generally, is the synthesis of sugar from light, carbon dioxide and water, with oxygen as a waste product. It is arguably the most important biochemical pathway known; nearly all life depends on it. It is an extremely complex process, comprised of many coordinated biochemical reactions. It occurs in higher plants, algae, some bacteria, and some protists, organisms collectively referred to as photoautotrophs.

The parasympathetic nervous system is one of three divisions of the autonomic nervous system. Sometimes called the rest and digest system, the parasympathetic system conserves energy as it slows the heart rate, increases intestinal and gland activity, and relaxes sphincter muscles in the gastrointestinal tract.
