what doesnt yahoo keep the total number of answers we have recieved on our yahoo answers profile?
if they can keep account of how many stars we have then why cant they show total answers recieved

Excellent point and award a point to the questioner for each answer.....would make it a reward system for good questions asked...I totally agree!

Perhaps it wouldn't be as easy as it may seem.

Since people have the ability to go back and delete answer(s) the counts of all questioners' questions would be constantly changing over and above the simple total count.

Maybe YA doesn't want to start maintaining an "accounting system" for answers because it'd introduce a level of complexity that they're unwilling to deal with.

(I've thought the same about getting a point for each "thumbs up" you receive on one your answers)
