How about Daunte Culpepper? Going into the season people thought the Dolphins would be Super Bowl contenders. So much for that..Culpepper didn't even make it through half the season before shutting it down because of his knees.

Jake Plummer turned out to be a one-year wonder, so he's not my pick as "Worst Than Usual Season Award". I won't pick Tom Brady because he was decent enough and Hasselbeck was hurt. Michael Vick has never really been good. Aaron Brooks sucks.
I'd have to pick Drew Bledsoe or Jake Delhomme. Delhomme may have started showing his age. Bledsoe was beat out by Tony Romo after expecting to carry the Cowboys well into the playoffs. So I'd go with Jake Delhomme for the Worst Than Usual Season Award.
Michael Vick let his team down the most, as he usually does every year. The Falcons started out on fire and Vick just couldn't hold up. (I considered Bledsoe and Plummer, but both of them had capable backup plans in Romo and Cutler)
The biggest loser is Michael Vick. I know I sound like a Vick-hater, but I'm not. He could be the best player in the NFL if he'd put it all together. But the whole airport/marijuana scandal put in with the offyear he had made me pick him.

Delhomme simply because alot of people picked his team be in the Superbowl and win it. He went from being one of the best in the league to people demanding he be benched. I think Brady had a better season than predicted because he won with less talent than usual. Hasselbeck's season was filled with injuries but he still made it back to the playoffs. Vick had arguably his best passing season and the 1,000 yards although the rest of the team sucked. Plummer didnt play the whole season. Brooks, no one expected much out of him. Warner, didnt play the whole season. Roethlisberger, had the accident and we knew it would affect him some way.
Manning"s whole team was a mess and underachieved.
The biggest losers would be Bledsoe, Warner, and Plummer because they all lost their jobs.

They all sucked in different ways.
Brooks was the worst, at least IMO.
Roethlisberger's sucking was the most unexpected of the bunch.
Vick let his team down the most- the Falcs entire offense rides on his shoulders, and he couldn't make the big plays that a player of his $$$ should be making.
Plummer was the biggest loser, IMO- the Broncos gave him the chances, but in the end, he was benched for a rookie that most people expected to suck in the NFL. (Plummer still has a couple years left as a starter, mark my words- just not with Denver.)
As a Panthers fan, Delhomme was the biggest disappointment. He has done so well in the past, and with both Steve Smith and Keyshawn catching, he really should have been able to move the ball a bit more. (Panthers were dead last in 3rd down conversions, I believe, but correct me if I'm wrong.) Oh well, I'll just go along with the "official" story and blame the O-Coordinator and the O-Line's injuries.

I wanted to put Roethlisberger as the most disappointing, but I just can't. After cramming his grill through a windshield, having an emergency surgery, getting concussed, and then being rushed back onto the field too soon to play, I think he did quite alright under the circumstances.
Vick was a terrible quarterback this year. It just looked like when he took the snap he would look to run first and then pass. When your quarterback becomes more of a running back it doesn't turn out well for your team. This year he reminded me of Kordell Stewart.......and that's not good.

Considering what picture I have I need to say I was upset at Ben's year, even though all in all he did good considering how much crap he had to deal with. It wasn't just him that had a bad year for the Steelers. I think his stitches to throw ratio was good.
I think it all comes down to a team stink effort when it comes o losses, I hate to blame the QB all the time., in all teams above.
