Ok this might sound like a stupid question, but there's this concert going on tonight called the Bob Marley Fest. Some of my favorite reggae artists are gonna be there, as well as Ms. Lauryn Hill herself. The thing is, I'm 39 wks pregnant with a cold! Hahaha.. i know.. stupid for even asking.. but my bf's cousin can get us in for FREE if we just give him the word. They said they can put me in a "special place" where I can see the performances and be comfortable. I really wanted to go last year, but I had to work and couldn't request off. I REALLY wanna go!!!! But i dunno... I was able to go to a UFC Fight back in November last year and that was all good! So what do you guys think?

Ok.. i know it may seem like I'm being irresponsible to some people. But like I said, I attended a live fight 3 months ago with the permission of my doctor and he said that it would be fine. Even if the baby starts moving a lot from the loud music, that's actually a good sign. Anytime baby moves is good. But i dunno..whatever.

you should be fine as long as you're smart about it. Stay away from all the smoke (cigarettes and pot, you know theres alot at bob marley fest), don't stand right next to a speaker/amp, and try not to stand the whole time, find a seat and don't stay on your feet for too long, and try to stand still for even less time. Just be aware that at 39 weeks you could go into labor at anytime, and sometimes excitement and alot of activity can kickstart labor. So don't stray too far from home, or at least be aware of where the nearest hospital is. Being responsible doesn't have to mean being boring. Have fun and good luck!

Too much loud music can affect your little one you know.... consider that before you decide. But who knows if you'll have this opportunity again, and you were told you were going to get "special treatment" to boot, so I think you should go. If you start feeling that the music and/or excitement is too much, you can always decide to leave before it's over, but if you decide not to go, you can't change your mind. Take the chance, see what it's like, hope you can handle it, and hope you don't go into labor while you're there (lol). Even if you have to leave early, at least you got some of the experience!!

Stay home! You and the child are more important than some stupid concert. If you are going to have children then you better decide what is more important in life.

If you honestly think it will be safe and you'll be comfortable then go.

I am _completely_ unclear on why on earth you wouldn't go.
