I see the trailer on TV but Cage just seems so dopey, not at all believable as a flaming spectre that rides a motorcycle.

Ok.. he was the wrong choice if you want to have this movie rated R and make it dark and sinister like the Ghost Rider movie should have been. But look where that got Spawn in the box office back in 1997..they didn't do too well.
But if you want to make money and gear it towards everyone like the PG-13 rating suggest, then he's the right actor cause he's a well know actor and alot of people like him.. I'm a big fan of Nic Cage..and i really want to see it.

I agree with you. I love Nicholas cage as an actor, but I was surprised to see him in this movie. I think someone younger would have been better in this movie.

I would rather go for a younger guy with more spunk! Nicholas Cage's movies are on a decline...sad, used to like his movies like FaceOff, Conair...but that was it. I'd say Chris Evans would be better, dont u think so?

He tried for years to get a movie with himself as Superman made. I can't decide which is crazier.
I love him in stuff like Matchstick Men or Raising Arizona...but he isn't really the super hero type.

I think it's hard to picture him in certain movies because of his look. For example, I didn't think he would be good in National Treasure, but he actually was. We probably just have to wait for the movie to be released in order to judge how he plays the part.

Yeah. I think he's a bit too old and just not right for the role. I would have picked someone who looked very masculine and mean.

absolutely, He is not at all believable in that role. I was just talking about that exact thing with my fiance today...lol. We both think anyone else would have been a better choice.

I agree with you, all his movies arent that good, only one thats alright is Gone in 60 seconds. Yeah he is dopey. lol

Cage is one of the best 'quirky actors" around I think he'll be awesome in the part.
Give him a chance bud, I don't think he'll dissapoint.

No, I think he's a wonderful actor and will be great in the part, he's always been a little out there.
