Please Correct Me If I'm Wrong, But What Happened To The Mets Supposed Rebuilding With Their Young Talent? I See Lastings Milledge Spending Alot Of Time In The Minors While The Mets Are Feilding One Of, If Not Thee, Oldest Teams In Baseball! Moises Alou? Jose Valentin? Tom Glavine? Pedro Martinez? Carlos Delgado? Orlando Hernandez? Billy Wagner? Paul Lo Duca? Damion Easily? Julio Franco? Shawn Green? And Now Chan Ho Park? All Of Them Over 34 Years Old!! It Seems Their Only Home Grown Talent Is Jose Reyes And David Wright! Isn't This Going Against Everything The Mets WERE Supposed To Be About? Aren't They Becoming The Same Thing Their Fans Hated About The Yankees? And How Does This Effect Your Opinion Of The Mets?

You are right when you say that they are old, but you're better off with more veterans than less in my opinion, as long as you have some youngsters on as well, which the Mets do in Reyes and Wright as you already mentioned. That right there is a pretty impressive pair of youngsters, so the builing process to have even just those two is good work.

I do agree with you on the rotation. They do have John Maine as a youngster, but the rest of the rotation is much too old, and talentless. Hernandez has nothing, I don't feel like Glavine is anything too amazing, and you're right, Park? Why the hell Park over some of your young fire arms like Pelfrey or Humber. Hopefully Oliver Perez had a spot and they don't give Jorge Sosa or Aaron Sele the nod over him,

I'm also not a huge fan of the bullpen, though they do have Heilman, and Sanchez is only 27. Maybe Ambiorix Burgos can step it up too a little.

Over all the Mets gave done something with their young players, though if it worked last year with their vets, why not continue. I do agree they need to young up the rotation a bit, as well as find a future solution at the closer because I don't know if Burgos is the answer to that if that is what they're thinking. Look on the bright side, at least they're not as old as Giants.
