depends on the size of the balas, but I would think so. If not now then it's a certain eventuality. Might want to find another place for the shrimp while you can.

rule of thumb: if it fits in their mouth, they will eat it (unless it eats them first!) pretty much works for all fish...i had ghost shrimp (aka grass shrimp) in a tank with neons, and the neons were trying to eat them! I guess ghost shrimp are pretty tasty, cuz even other ghost shrimp will eat them...

I'm not sure your sharks would eat shrimp, but I would; I LOVE SHRIMP! yummy!
