In my opinion I believe Astaire was a superior dancer but Kelly was a better singer and actor. What are your opinions?

Kelly, He was not only a dancer but a director and a pretty good dramatic actor when he had to be (He was awesome in grapes of wraith with Spencer Tracy)
I saw him back in person in 1986 at the celebration for the 100th anniversary of the statue of liberty in Giant Stadium, he was old and worn but still full of class and style

I never saw Gene Kelly , but I did see alot of Fred Astaire. he was good too.

Astaire was more elegant, Kelly a "man's man."
