I am a white person and I don't hate cockroaches. In fact, I have a bunch of Madagascar hissing cockroaches in my classroom right now. Of course people (of all ethnic backgrounds) dislike those German cockroaches that are household pests. They invade your homes, poop on your counters, and spread disease. What's not to hate?

Actually cockroaches are not as dirty as we think and they can be fun to watch. They are also fun to swat. Occasionally they seem to have some individual characteristics. I remember I came home one day and one flew at me. He payed for that indiscretion with his life.

I don't think only white people don't like roaches. ALL PEOPLE HATE ROACHES. I know I hate roaches and I know I'm not white. :D
