I take it you're the father. Yeah, do your best. You might end up a crappy dad, and she'll find a better more suitable man. In the meantime, you're the best dad that baby has, grow up.

Well duh! I mean, if you were ready to have sex, obviously you should be ready to handle the consequences of your actions. Yes, it will be extreemely difficult, but it is your baby, and you are responsible for it. You dont see the girl running away from it do you? Do you think just because it's not in YOUR stomache, then you have nothing to do with it? It was your little soldiers that created the child, so you need to grow up and take responsibility for what you did.....

Even if you aren't ready to actually take care of the child, you should make it a strong point to be there for them. As of right now, you and your partner are the only parents they have. Get a job and finish your education too. You should provide for the organism that shares your flesh and blood.

Ready or not, you've got a responsibility.
You have two choices:
Accept the responsibilities of fatherhood and like a man take on the role of father and marry the mother.
Or....Sign away your paternal rights and make it easy for the mother to place the child up for adoption.
Adoption is the best choice if you do not marry the mother.

Yes, do what is right. Life doesn't normally wait for us to be ready, so step up to the plate. You didn't stop to think if you were ready when you were busy creating said child, did you? If we all waited for conditions to be ideal before tackling the world, no one would ever do anything.

If you're not ready, you should get ready, and then take responsibility, and do so quickly. This child needs parents.

Yes you should take responsibility, it doesn't matter whether you are ready or not. The child is yours, do whatever you can to support him or her, in every way possible, you won't regret it.
