I'm a Hitchcock fan and I love The Birds and you are right, they never really tell you why the birds attack. Its part of the mystique of the movie.

The Birds Movie was written and produced by Alfred Hitchcock. The story line is based on the abomination of man with compliments from the Bird population. How often do humans hurt the Animal and Bird Population of the World.Man was being taught that he cannot have everything all his own way.The turning of the birds into Attack mode towards Humans is no less than he deserves really. It has always been the other way round. Humans attack and eat birds. Birds are now attacking humans. The Love Birds represented the unification of the Bird Kingdom. It is a terrifying prospect really, we should think carefully about the possibilities of this situation occurring. If you go to close to a Swans nest they will attack.Imagine all the birds in the world behaving in this way towards humans.Did anyone see Animal farm by George Orwell.
