Spade of Columbia has it exactly wrong. Anyone who is not a criminal and is not an atheists can join.

BUT YOU MUST ASK TO JOIN MASONS WILL NEVER ASK SOMEONE TO JOIN RECRUITING IS AGAINST THE RULES

I live in America I am a Mason. Here I tell people to go to there local lodge and ask for info. We often have open houses. Or you could google looking for the grand lodge of your area. Email me if you have any questions

My dad, uncle and grandfather are all freemasons, as is my ex-husband. I am pretty sure the done thing is to approach a Freemason and ask them that you want to become one. I have been to one of their meetings. There is secrets but you dont know what they are until you have reached different stages (degrees) The old saying in the masons is "ask to be one!"
Good luck
Oh by the way im in Perth WA as is my father but im other rellies belong to one of the oldest lodges in the world.

You can't just join...you need to be invited by a memeber and you can't ask a member if you can be invited. Its a society with secrets, you don't think you can just join do you.
