The t-blade is a light weight concept design out of Germany. The premise is to use as little steel as possible to bring down the overall weight. Furthermore, the steel runners are precision made amd designed to be easily replaced in case of knicks, damage or breakage.

Now, the t-blade housing design gives a softer (more flexible) feel when striding out. It actually feels softer than the old prolite 2's did.

It's a nice idea, but not all pro shops stock the hardware or product, which puts the onus on you to make sure you have all the spare parts you need.

For my money, the Tuuk is the best blade design. It's easily the choice of at least 1/2 of the NHL and has been for some 30 years.
