My 10 year old neice got lost on the subway (first time she had been in the city). I drove 100 miles to help find her. As if, in a city of two million. The police said if she wasn't found in four hours, she never would be. She was finally found by the transit people when the subways stopped running. So glad to find her, then we wanted to kill her.

I got separated from my dad and aunt in Bloomingdale's in New york city and it was one of those giant stores with like 3 floors. I freaked out and didn't know what to do so I started to cry (I was about 6). I finally went up to the counter next to the escalator to try to talk to the lady. She couldn't understand what I was saying so she assumed I was crying because I was afraid of the escalator. She took my hand and walked me down it saying, "It's ok. It's not that scary." Lucky my dad and aunt were right next to the escalator when we finally got off of it. It was not a good day.

I have 3 kids and have lost all three

!st -turned my back, he was gone, sitting on the neighbors front porch behind some trees.

2nd -fell asleep on the bus and no one noticed

3rd -fell asleep behind the couch, but I didn't see him 'cuz his outfit was the same color as the furniture.

The first one, he was actually lost 2 other times, too. He was very adventurous and quick.
