Hassert didn't have his OWN plane,He had use of a military plane when needed. he did not have a bedroom in it. I have flown to California a bunch of times,I never needed a bedroom and I work hard everyday and pay my taxes. Why should she have a special plane that big and her own bedroom off my hard earned $. A round trip flight would cost 300K,a bit much. But I guess if you live off the government you wouldn't care!
She's been getting around fine on her broom,why change now?

If I were the Republicans I would tie buying a 747 for Pelosi to some democrat bill and let the fun begin.

um... where do you guys come up with this stuff? the only one saying anything about a bedroom was a republican as a comparison to the Lincoln Bedroom... but it was a comparison, not saying there was going to be a bedroom?
even tony snow said it was silly to cry about this? TONY SNOW...
I don't know anything about planes... but hastert had one that went one way from Washington to his home state... it seems hypocritical to say that she should not... and both are military planes?

To the best of my knowledge, no previous speaker has had that, why should shw. She's not the 1st speaker from the west coast. It's absurd. That plane burns more fuel in 1 trip than a fleet of SUV's.

What if she's tired. it's a very long flight across this land of ours. I hate the woman, but lets not punish her and give her any less than we would give a republican in the same position. I want to know why 47 people need to travel with her. Now that I would question.
