I need a story or interesting illustration to give kids to teach them more about African-American history (3-5 mins) to give during church.

Please be more specific. And the reason there isn't a white history month is because frankly it's unnecessary and you can go ANYWHERE and get the history of your culture. I have no idea what tribe or anything. I have no heirlooms. Nothing. Let me have a month to celebrate for goodness sakes. You're white. You'll be okay.

They kids are anywhere from 0-9

I really need more of a story type deal. Like the one about the guy who wished there was no Black people and all the inventions disappeared. Just not that one.

going through. Martin Luther King went through the
struggle for us and paid the ultimate price to make
sure we were treated right. The ultimate--his life.
He did it for us and our children making the road
