Combining fire hazard with fire hazard with fire hazard. Your brave!!
Lay down on the deck ohhh 2'x2' patio blocks, granite tiles, bricks...... say 6'x6' area , a good 4 feet or more away from the side of the trailer. ( Heat alone can melt vinyl siding) Place the grill on top of this. Make sure you have a flawless grease trap beneath the burners. This is what catches on fire. Install a light on the side of the trailer so you can see what you are cooking and won't get the idea to pull it close to the side so you can see at night. Turn off the gas after every use.
Cook a porterhouse and have a cold one for me !!!

Ooh, I don't like the sound of that.

Maybe if you totally surround a spot on our deck corner w/ sheet metal or something.... or at least put a sheet of metal under the pit, and have it far away from the railings and the house.....

It would still spook me.

Just detach the propane and close the valve and you shouldnt have any problems. When moving it may be wise to just move the propane into the home.
