You need a total of twelve. One strike for every frame one through nine and then 3 in frame 10. Each scores 10 points plus the total of the next two balls. A strike at frame = 10, and then you get another 10 for frame two and another for frame three equaling 30 for the first frame. If you continue with all strikes you end up with 30 for every frame. That is why there is a possible 3 balls in the tenth frame. Then you end up with a 300 total and if you could keep doing this, or even be close all the time, you are going to be one rich dude. Twelve in a row. I had the first nine one night in one of my leagues back when I bowled on a regular basis, but missed on the tenth one. Had the first eight another night.
