I'm going on a hot date next week and I saw this really cute tube top that I want but what would you wear over that? A sweater? Help?

First of all, I recommend a big, fluffy, sweatshirt. It's like five degrees outside. I can hardly believe that you can put anything on less than a t-shirt.
But I mean, if it were warmer than what I think would make it look hot would be a black fishnet shirt thrown over it. Like it go over your neck like a turtleneck and go tight around your wrists. The shirt otherwise would be a bit baggy. It'd look so hot, especially if the tube top was white.
EDIT: I was thinking like one of those long v-neck shirts that dip really low. Make it a clingy long-sleeve shirt though.

well, you don't wear a tube top in the winter. Your supposed to wear warm clothes and sweaters, not clothes that belong in the summer.

wear a tank top with lace trimming around the neckline and wear a deep v-neck sweater over it. it'll look good when you take off your coat, that it wouldn't look ridiculous that you're wearing a tank top in the winter and the lace trimming that is peaking through the deep v-neck sweater helps to add a little sexiness to outfit.

i like wearing an oversized winter jacket and one of those thin scarves when its really cold. It's a look that works because it catchs your date off guard when the coat finally comes off ;)
if it's only a little windy you can get away with armwarmers and a scarf, they sell really awsome winter accessories at www.urbanoutfitters.com
any light jacket of cardigan would work fine IMO

A sweater would be cute. maybe a shrug with long sleeves? get a color that complements the tube top.
btw --- it is totally winter. there's like 2 ft. of snow outside my house : P

i wouldnt wear a tubetop in the winter. ARE U CRAZY? i would put a sheer long sleeve (WHITE) vneck shirt on top. and then put a cute jacket over it all.

You could wear a short cut denim jacket. You could wear a nice blazer. You could just pick out a nice jacket. Whatever you pick, just make sure it matches, that you like it, and that its your style.

do no longer placed on it .. its a gown in any case & its iciness , despite in case you hide up the strapless section apparently incorrect simply by fact its iciness & you will seem such as you're caught lower back in summer.

a giant coat. i am sorry but, itty bitty clothes in the winter just look stupid. you can be hot and sexy but not die of hypothermia.
