No, tigers (Panthera tigris) are the largest member of the family panthera. Lions (Panthera leo) are not "huger" than tigers.

Thats not true. A lion only looks bigger because it has a big, bushy mane around it's neck. This is so that it looks scary and big to other animals living in its enviornment (including other male lions). Not only that, but the lions mane also acts as a sort of protection if another lion were to try and take a bite out of its throat.

Tigers are actually the largest wild cat in the world. They grow to be bigger than lions - and can grow to be anything between 4.5 - to 9 feet long.

Lions grow up to 6 feet long.
