in my opinion i am sort of both for and against the removal of the because it denies freedom to religion, and because innocent women are being brutally killed, because villagers suspect them of being sorcerers. i'd love to know some of your opinions. thank you!!

The laws are similar to laws still on the books in Arizona...Illegal to serve an Indian Liquor, Must tie your horse, not drop tether, thong must be in place on hammer of gun....Still on books but not enforced.

If there is a law against witch craft witches better get some lawyers and sue the govt as they are to have freedom of religion along with every other religion.

I don't think too many women are being burned at the stake by villagers anymore. I also don't think politicians are going to remove these laws. By removing these, it'll prove to the populous it CAN be done! We'll be asking them to remove all kind of laws next!! These laws aren't enforced any more as far as I know. It's about like the sex laws here in the Southern states.

Are you living now or 200 years ago? Where are you talking about?
But as a witch myself, I don't think there should be any laws in against the practice of witchcraft.

I think it would depend on the law. Any practice that would harm people should be covered. But general witch craft is no more harmful than any religion. Witch craft is different than Satan worshiping.

No i don't believe witchcraft is a problem. If all I have read and heard is true, they actually praise or their beliefs center on the earth and seasons. It is far different than black magic.

no, the laws are nice in the winter, nothing like warming up on a cold night to a witch burning at the stake.

I have no idea what laws you are referring too. But that said I say let them practice witchcraft if that is what they want to do and believe.
