Arguments against the patriot act or other similar measures always prompt the the cliched "then we become like them!" or "then we lost who we are".

In other words, its better to perish than to sacrifice some portion of our imagined "rights". Uh...I disagree. I prefer to live with less rights as opposed to not living or allowing the adversary to continue unabated.

First of all, we have already, as a nation, lost some of our rights because of Islamic terrorism. Essentially it came down to three choices:

1. Dont give the governement any greater ability to mointer potential terrorist activities

2. Give the government ability to mointer all people, so as, God forbid, not to discriminate against the singular community committing the terror.

3. Give the government ONLY the ability to further intrude upon the privacy of the community singularly responsible for generating domestic terror.

Oh dear me, how could we think of option 3. Better we ALLL LOSE RIGHTS.

(sigh)

I read a few of your answers and it still amazes me when people claim the Islamic terrorists can't present the United States with a credible threat. Where were these morons on 9/11?

The far left would have us believe that we can just leave and kind of initiate a policy of live and let live. That would be great - except that this position is both idealistic and unrealistic - and ignorant of the results that our policies of inaction have achieved in the past.

I cannot sooth the anxiety of anyone who thinks the CIA is listening in on them when they order a pizza from the local pizzeria. Nor can I convince them that the government isn't at all interested in their personal daily tasks - unless, of course, they're calling known terrorists or purchasing large amounts of explosive materials. And in those cases, I want the government to have the resources and the knowledge to keep a little closer eye on them.

Simply put, the government doesn't have the inclination nor the manpower nor the means to intrude on any American or anyone else that doesn't give them a damned good reason to suspect that they present a threat to this nation.

The adversary is not what it seems. By your own words giving up some liberties for safety is an objective both sides of this war are fullfilling. So in that the ones fighting each other are one in the same. So no I will not bow down to tyranny and will live my life free from government oppression. I would die as a free man than live as a slave to the system thanks. That is patriotism, not giving into your fears of government fairy tales of evil comic book Islamist.

What adversary? Show us something besides films of muslims shaking their fists. You make an extraordinary claim like "they want to kill us all" requires extraordinary proof. You have shown none for 5 1/2 years. If you do show some, then how do they attack us? Paddle reed boats across the atlantic? Put the emphasis on security instead of attacking and occupying other countries. Protect us, here.

we are all gentle beings, human angel and alien the version is that i visit inform is that human and alien have actual bodies. the position as an angel is greater previous the prefer to be in a actual body any further, it really is extra conscious of itself as source and hence extra linked to God. not something is way less linked as God is the sum complete of each little thing and not in any respect something, that's purely that beings in actual bodies are to various extents lesser conscious of the particular shown actuality that they and God are one. With all this being reported all of us are gentle beings and we may be able to commute out of body as those gentle beings to numerous places we prefer to commute to. The confusion comes even as a being is encountered as a gentle being as to if he/she is seeing an astral travelling gentle being as a human or alien or is seeing a being that has no actual body as a angel or ghost. for this reason the confusion between both and why it should be perplexing to tell apart in basic terms from visual charm. i'd say seem not in basic terms to visual charm yet as well deed this may practice the actuality. An angel may often emerge as of service, possibly to rescue you. even though it should be understood they don't prefer to be considered to rescue you and therefor the oddest "coincidences" that saved your existence even as by technique of all rights attempt to be useless ought to all acceptable were something far grander than you ever concept: angelic intervention. :-D

There is no need to die. We must stay alive in order to fight the democrats to keep our nations God-loving beliefs alive. If we die, we fail, and would leave the rest of our loved ones to deal with liberals. Hillary is running for president to kill America, so we must fight her, and staying alive is the only way to do that.
