I talk talk to my pets all the time. I have conversations with them like there people. They love it and they may not know what I'm saying but they sure do listen.
Besides, you can say anything you want and they won't get offended or start an argument....LOL

LOL Of course I do, what loving pet parent wouldn't? However, I am not sure if it's normal that I give them voices of their own to talk back to me in!

I sure do. And she talks back too. Obviously not in words, but I've learned to read her different facial expressions and body language and know just what she wants.

Yes. I usually pretend to scold them, and then feed and pet them.

Yes, everyone else is at work or school so it's talk to the dog or talk to the TV.
