The very first thing you should do is get an attorney, check with community services and see if you can get help since you sound like you are low income and need assistance. An attorney can advise you on everything. I don't think you should have to move either, if you can afford where you're at then ask your husband to move since he has the money to do so. An attorney can advise you of your rights and help you get what you should from your share of being married. You should always put money away for yourself wether you are married or not. One dollar here, one dollar there, forego some extravagances and stow that money away so you'll have something to fall back on. Good luck.

If it is his social security check and you were married to
him for so many years, you are eligible for part of the
social security check. Depends upon the state as to how
many years you have had to be married to him and you
can find that out thru a representative of Social Security
in ur state. Unless it is stipulated in the divorce decree
his retirement check is another thing, and you will probab-
ly have to get a lawyer involved as it is not automatic.
Good luck.

depends on your divorce agreement...my husband was legally married to his first wife for maybe 20 years and she will get approximately 1/3 of his monthly pension, which is why he refuses to retire anytime soon, although he has been on the same job for 36 years and is old enough

I believe you can only ask for half the amount he earned toward retirement while you were married. In other words, if he was at his job for 10 years before he married you, that portion, and any interest it accrued is off limits.

depends on where you live, check with a lawyer. If your husband has already filed for divorce, you should be consulting with a lawyer at this point.

Depends on how long you were married and how big of an asshole you were toward him to make him want a divorce in the first place. I hope you walk away with nothing.

If he was military, and you get anything, its only for the rest of HIS life.

PEACE!
