My earring backing is embedded into the back of my ear! Kinda like if you were to tie a rope around a tree and the tree trunk grows around the rope. Anyways, I tried to pull it out myself but it won't budge! Any suggestions?

I think you need a Dr. to lance it and open it back up to remove it

I got my dad to take a pair of tweezers and pull it out. It kinda hurt, but it healed within a couple of days. I don't know how a doctor's method would compare, though.

Hi Kim actually this happened to a few people I know including me. I went to the doctors and they pulled it right out.

Try soaking the earring in warm water and then rubbing it with Vaseline. Then twist it slowly until it comes loose. If that doesn't work, try going to www.webmd.com. that should give you some advice. If nothing works, you should go to a doctor.

And this is caused by not turning your earrings after you get your ears pierced.
Go to a doctor or call a piercing palor.
