why won't anyone just let teens have sex with other teens, and why does no one realize that sex itself is not a bad thing?
by the way, I am a teenager, so don't go accusing me of being some predator or something, I just don't want cops coming around for me loving my girlfriend if you know what I mean.

Sex is dangerous to everyone not in a monogamous, permanent relationship. If you were really old enough for sex, you would already know this little tidbit of information.
AIDS, Herpes, HPV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and of course pregnancy.
If you love her, let her keep her panties on and buy her a nice dinner and flowers. Keep your promises, call when you say you are going to call and get a life for yourself.
Your question implies the very ignorance you are attempting to claim that you do not have.
You're a kid. Keep it in your pants a while. It can do no good until you are able to face the consequences of your actions.

Sex in itself is not harmful. But, there are laws out there for reason. Laws are out there to protect against people, not the sex itself. A girl of 15 might be less than vaguely aware of STD's, pregnancy, or even knowing much at all about sex, let alone just saying "no." Also, a lot of girls can be pressured into having sex. "If you love me, you'll do this for me." Teen pregnancy is at an all time high.
While I agree in part that you may love someone, the two "consenting" teens need to be fully aware of all consequences before having sex. You'd be surprised how many don't even know what a condom is.

When you grow up and join we big people, you will realize that we have this thing called "RESPONSIBILITY". What makes you teenagers still children is the fact that you are unable to take responsibility for your own actions, you try to palm it off on whoever will cop it. That's why sex in adolescence is frowned upon, because no matter how careful you try to be, accidents happen and contraception doesn't always work. (That's how half of you are here !!) We big people know how the whole sex thing works and we understand the consequences better than you children, which is why we make the decisions regarding these things. We are trying to save you from yourselves by trying to prevent you from bringing another responsibility into the world when you don't have the resources or knowledge to care properly for it.
Stop being spoiled little brats demanding your own way all the time, and realise that you don't always know as much as you think you do. Listen to those who know better, for a change, and you may save yourselves a few mistakes.

So permit's get this right away. Feminists prefer women persons to have the sexual freedom to sleep with whom ever they prefer, yet they're now criminalizing it if between the persons in touch has extra means on Duke campus? looks like we've yet yet another occasion and much extra information of feminism no longer being what that is defined as. that is strikes tutor it and genuine rape victims would desire to be truthfully furious with the style of coverage.

you have to understand that sex itself is NOt a bad thing, but some of the possible consequences are.... imagine having a baby when you're 16 or getting an uncurable STI that's going to haunt you for life....
but yes, i do agree with your point that sex isn't bad, being a teenager myself... it's just a thing to think of before you do it though

Sex isn't bad, it's the consequence that come with it that are bad. It's harder for a teenager to deal with those consequences than an adult.

i think that you cant as a teen beacuse of the conflicting morals in america. imean no one really gets caught for having sex any way. unless of course your to stupid not to use a condom and you get your girl pregnate. so i think the governmnt made it illegal so that the less and more conservative alike are all happy. and if they can catch you, the cops will. so just dont be stupid. and use condoms lol .
