Civlilization III is a computer game made in the US. I play its Chinese version. Anyway, they are the same. I can not win. Any tips? Except math, what other skills required? I am good at math actually, that is why I like the game. It seems to me, other skills takes a long time to develop, but I do not have much time spent in playing it, so I need someone who has played the game to tell me.

First off start out on one of the easier difficulty settings; you can always increase it later when you get better. Expand quickly and build new cities but don't neglect them; build at least two units to defend each one. Don't rely on peace as a tactic; it's very likely that you'll have to attack someone at some point (or they will attack you). Build a larger military once you get more powerful and don't forget to upgrade it as you research new technologies.

Start off making an army of workers. Build many improvements and eventually create another city. Once you have two cities create a couple warriors for defense. Once you get to 100 gold, always put science research at 100%, thats how you start out.
