It is probably missing codecs!!! You need codecs to be able to watch videos on ur computer, there is a bunch of diferent kinds out there, go to divx.com, they should have some that would help you out!!!

I agree, you're probably missing some codecs.

Go to the site below and download one of the codec packs. (I use K-Lite Mega codec pack, and have yet to find a file that won't play.)
