today i noticed that there is a bumb on my leg (below my stomach to the left, like where the thigh bone is connected to the pelves-its kinda hard to explain) but anyway theres like a knot there but it only hurts when i touch it and its about the size of quater or maybe so but its not like ontop of the skin but like beneath the skin- could anybody tell me what this is and i would go to the doctor but i Hate going there. and if age is a concern im only 16

It sounds like an enlarged inguinal lymph node. If it is you have an immune system challenge going on. I wouldn't worry about it. It should go away, but if it doesn't have your family doctor check it out __Joel

I'm not a doctor but it sounds like a lymph node. YOu probably have an infection and just need some antibiotics but your really MUST go to the doctor for this. He will probably just give your antibiotics and send you on your way. My brother had the same problem. It should clear up fine. :)

hey, i'm not a doctor, but i've had one of those before, its either a cyst or an enlarged lymph node or a really infected hair follicle or sweat gland, the best thing you can do is get it checked out
