FAKE?????? NO!!!!!!!!!!
It is scripted however. you JUST can't let people go into the ring and not KNOW what the person on the other side is going to do. so you have to "script" some of it so it will look more real.
but fake no no "fake" blood. injury are sometimes faked for what is known in the biz as a "kayfabe".

Well technically wrestling IS fake. Its like theyve said the wrestlers communicate in between each other in the ring, if you listen closely you can listen at times, normally louder in PPVs. But i mean they have to get hurt, after all they have to get paid for something. The ladders arent really 25 feet high, the tables arent more than an inch thick, and the charis are thin wich make them easy to bend in a shot at anything. So the basics are, WWE has somewhat of fakeness into it. Its more of an art of grapple and strikes.

wooo hooo a question i have alot of opions about....
yes wwe is entertainment, it is scripted, the blood is cause by a blood back (whatever its called) or the ref has a razor blade, and yes some of the moves dont hurt but there are some that hurt like hell, i have had a few tryed on me..... tables, steel chairs those are real..... if you want all the answer about this there is a vcr tape called the secrets of the wwf or something i have it around here somewhere. they tell you all about it.....
but the way i look at it is, if your a fan whys it matter they must be doing something right for you too keep watching it..
if you dont like wwe, tna, ecw then thats their choice and they really dont have an opion they are just repeating what they have been told over the yrs, or some **** lol

I would say about 75 % is fake. The wrestlers DO need to be in great shape, accidents Do hapen. But, the matches are scripted, the owner asks if he wants characters to go from good or bad, and cut foreheads are planned probably 90% of the time.
I mean, lets face it. How many people do you know can get punched in the face 10 times or so and not have a bruise or anything.

I would say 60% real, 40% fake. Most of the submission moves are real but applied in a way that doesn't hurt. Example: When Ric Flair applies the figure four, he places the opponenet's leg below the knee cap. The real figure four has the leg above the knee cap, pulling the knee cap down, and eventually dislocating it.
The shots and a lot of the grapple moves are real.

I wouldn't call it fake. It is more like entertainment, and rehearsed but, the time Owen Hart died during a match, it wasn't rehearsed nor was it planned. He died during an event where all the fans had no idea he died. He was pronounced dead and was kept silent during the event so that fans wouldn't panic. People are getting hurt to entertain you. Is it real??? That is why they take steroids, and pain killers to be able to handle the pain. Just like when you watch roosters fighting. Is it real? or is it fake?

Its hard to tell, sometimes they get hurt, sometimes they just act like they get hurt and on the rare occasion they get hurt and have to act like they are not hurt. It is stages, not a true athletic competition, but only around 30% of the moves are fake in a sense that they do not actually hurt or inflict body damage.

That's why it's called Entertainment, to entertain us ADULTS. You should read one of the wrestler's books. I specially like Stone Cold's. He tells you everything in his book. They are "scripted" and stunts, but very very DANGEROUS stunts, SO DO NOT TRY THEM AT HOME. These wrestlers are professionals. They know what they're doing, and they get paid to jump off a 10+ feet ladder or cage. They definitely don't have anything tied to them to keep them from falling hard. They fall hard. So PLEASE DO NOT TRY THESE MOVES AT HOME OR WITH YOUR FRIENDS. There are already kids that died because of these stunts.
Peace. Be careful.

Ask John Stossell from 20/20. He got the taste slapped out of his mouth for asking such a question in a locker room. You can check it out on YouTube.

Wrestling is real in a way because when MVP got his back burned, it looked real. It probably was. Cuz the fire looked real.
