Now they are being investigated over a new recruit- McKnight. Is their program really as slimy and is dishonesty as pervasive as it appears?

Sure they would. If you think all the major schools aren't paying their players in some manner, I have a bridge for sale.

The USC program is not as dishonest as they are made out to be...

The McKnight situation involved Reggie Bush talking to McKnight, which is a NCAA violation because Bush is currently playing in the league...is that really that different than Noel Devine's situation??? (Deion Sanders talked to Devine to reconsider his verbal commitment to WVU and take another recruiting trip to FSU...something along those lines).

USC got plenty of quality recruits this year without violating any rules; I know first hand, my friend is the only WR from CA that they offered this year (he just signed his letter of intent last week)...and the only WR recruit they're bringing in this year (not counting the transfer from Arkansas or any possible walk-ons and future commitments)

They would get some but nowhere near the degree they have. Shouldnt they already be on probation. I mean living in apartments free, community colleges giving all A's and B's in a B.S. spanish class, reggie bush's free house and 200,000+ dollars, and now the #1 running back gets to talk to reggie bush, but oh wait he "misspoke." If this was miami or oklahoma, they'd be on probation already.

No, people just hate winners. Pete Carroll knows how to pick player, and the promise of being one of the top teams in the nation will help recruiting a lot.

Sure they would, but I guess they have their way of doing things.
