I need to know how to write the problem.

Find two consecutive odd integers such that twice the larger is 17 more than the smaller. Thank you =)

2y = x + 17
x + 2 = y

Make the numbers n and n+2. So, 2(n + 2)=n + 17. n = 13, so the numbers are 13 and 15.

smaller = x bigger = x+2

equation : x+17=2(x+2)
x+17=2x+4

x=13 numbers: 13 & 15
