You suddenly get a song in your head and then turn on the radio and its playing? This happens to me all the time....Am I picking up air waves?....lol

Yah. I was listening to a song once, then I turned on American Idol, and they were singing it.

What actually is happening is that the song is playing on the radio because you are singing it in your head.

for me its more the fact i'm listening to a song on the radio then change stations when its finished only to find that same song playing again on another station

It also happens a lot when someone is giving me a phone number I've never heard before-- I often start writing a number before they say it & it is the right one.... weird
