like, whoever is the champion needs to deserve it and actually beat an opponent instead of constant ring interruptions and popularity and, isn't there too many women wrestlers who can't wrestle? to me it's making a mockery of the good old fashioned wwf style from back in the day. matches are too predictable and wrestlers who can actually wrestle don't get the notoriety or respect they deserve. and leave all the old classic, famous wrestlers out of the ring cause, they bring them back old and make them look silly when they're remembered as legends! holla at me!

wrestling is no longer wrestling like it was in the old days of the WWF... back w/ Hulk Hogan, Mr.T, Rowdy Roddy Piper, and all the good ones...

Wrestling is now about the drama, the story line, the grudges, the suprises...

Wrestling is now the male soap opera. I have no other way to say it... thats what it is, and as much as i would like it to go back to the old days, i know it isn't.

But one good thing did come from it... the wrestling video games they've come out w/ from this new WWE, are pretty good.

I miss the old days of wrestling that I grew up watching. I remember watching wrestling with my Grandpa ( the old AWA days ) and seeing Baron Von Rashke, the Crusher Jerry Blackwell, Rock in Roll Buck Zumoff.

I miss the early days of the WWE back in the 80's when you had rock in wrestling. The tag teams back then were awesome: The Killer Bees, The British Bulldogs, The Hart Foundation to name a couple. Even the Rockers who were around in the late 80's early 90's were cool. Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Junkyard Dog, Jimmy Snuka ( the early days of Wrestlemania) had some of the greatest matches that I still remember.

NWA/WCW was my favorite. You had classic matches with Sting, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Magnum TA, Dusty Rhodes.
The Midnight Express( w/ Jim Cornette), The Rock and Roll Express, Rick Steiner and Eddie Gilbert ( w/ Missy Hyatt) had terrific tag team matches.

You did not have to worry about seeing half naked women all the time - the women wrestlers/managers (Elizabeth, Baby Doll, Wendy Richter, Moola) all wore clothes that were decent compaired to what is on TV today.

There is some really talented wrestlers today - and I really love watching their matches, but do we really need the Diva's?

I will admit that I have tired of the fast changing pace that has been wrestling in the last few years. The only time we see hard fought, feel good matches is at Wrestlemania. It's no coincidence that Wrestlemania is the only PPV I will watch besides the Royal Rumble and I only watch that for the Rumble match. I like Batista and John Cena as champions. I don't understand why Lashley is one at all. Unless you consider that Vince has little respect for ECW. Cena's and Batista's original runs towards championship gold were great. Cena losing to Edge was shocking and most people hated it. Tat's why Edge only held for 3 weeks. Batista dropped due to injury, so I can't blame the office on that. Kurt Angle was a good chamipon, always has been. But Rey Misterio? I hate that Rey won because of Eddie. That's my opinion. Then you got Booker T, no sorry, you got King Booker. What contest in hell did he win to get that gimmick. Basically. wrestling has changed and will never ever be the same again.

What you wrote was too long, but WWE kind of should go back to the old wrestling. Except, now, there are a lot of good wrestlers that probably wasn't present in the old times.

Yes! Now a days their not even really fighting and back then they didn't have any people coming out dressed like ho's. They were big, ugly, fat, strong. But with the dudes it's all fake. The matches are planed and they even reherse it. Well it's still entertaning.

I agree with you 75%. I think there should be promos, but only by people who can deliver them (HBK, Edge, etc.)
