Wachu talkin bout Willis. Ask any white man, present or past that ran for president if he has any American Indian in him and he'll say yah "I'm part Cherokee". Why must white guys identify with the American Indian, most if not all don't even look indian. Whats up with that.

It would be great to have a Native American for president. But since we "palefaces" dominate American society, it probably will be a snowy day in hell before that comes about.
And to comment the answer above me, Native Americans are much more deserving of that honour, since this country had been taken away from them through force and genocide, which in my humble opinion is much worse than what happened to the Blacks.

I don't wonder about this. It make sense that our people would not want to support the current government. And do you know how much money one would have to posess to run for office, because of many Native values it would make sense to put that money to good use. Also, one would have to learn and accept to some extent the values of the dominant political society which in many cases goes directly against Native peoples values. And to add to that think of all the ignorant people they would have to work with and support.

first off in the tradition of the person preceding me it was war get over it, next y is everyone all concerend about the race of the president, the next one is going to be black (not african american, saying that would be too redundant seeing how he is a actual african descendent) or a woman.
