ppl here are overly sensitive don't worry about it. if white trash didn't mean anything it wouldn't be a word ppl use.

Red-neck isn't racist, because it describes an attitude, rather than a race. Similarly, white trash isn't racist, because it's about behaviour, and there are plenty of caucasians like me, who live below the poverty line but who still manage to conduct themselves with dignity and have respect for others. Personally, I dislike the word "white" if used to describe people of aryan stock. I've yet to meet anybody who is that colour. Even albinos have some pigment in their lips and eyes.

red necks isn't really racist, it is not a complement either. sort of different than cracker, I think that has more of a demeaning tone
