How do you grab the dang handle in the main room? I've tried everything. Do you push certain buttons or do you need a weapon to do it? All the online walkthroughs say to grab it but it doesn't say HOW!!! ARRRRRR!!!

Jumping off the edge doesn't work. YOu have to go down these stairs and it's in the middle. I've tried to roll/jump backwards to get it but it doesn't work.

You can only jump to handles if the stairs are not underneath the switch. If they are, you won't jump. If there isn't, just run to the switch and you should jump automatically. You need to find a switch where there are no stairs underneath and leap to that.

You probably haven't done everything that needs to be done. Is the water flowing through the little waterfall things? If not, you should probably do that. If so, you may need to run around and activate a certain switch so that the staircase will spin and you can hit this lever. To do that, just run and jump of the edge. However, there can't be any stairs or else you'll just walk and not jump.

If you have the wolf feature then you should be able to transform and have midna grab on to the handle, but I am not quite sure. Good luck in your search.

You just have to jump off of the ledge to get it, unless there is something I am forgetting.
