If you answered yes to over half of the first part of the questions you are concidered an External believer. This means you believe God, fate or luck controls your lives. You place less trust in man's communal knowledge and control systems; you passivly watch and await your fate.

If you answered yes to over half of the second part of the question you are an Internal believer. This means you control your own lives, you use your head & the technology of science before you take action.

A study found that prisoners who were Internals had more information than Externals on how to obtain parole! People hospitalized for a mental illness believe they are controled by an External power.

Actually, if you are an External you can be more easily conditioned to new experiences. Externals prefer tasks which lessen their chance of failure. They seem to forgo opportunities to attain skills that would lead result in achievement.

Internals seem to expect success, even in tasks where they cannot explain their failures. In fact, they seem to continue to hope snd to presevere, even where failure has reduced their chance of success.

I don't believe in god, but I think that there is something holding us together. I believe we control our own lives and what we do in this life is important enough to determine what happens in the next. I believe in looking up when there is a storm coming and that some survivors need to talk of their emotions during that storm. Each of us handles the "issues" life sends our way in our own way. I hope you find what you want out of this life.

And I don't think that there is just a yes or no answer for this.

I got 3 for god/fate/world and 2 for me.
You seem to conclude that internals suffer more and achieve more while externals lie about expecting the world to save them, but are happier about it.
