The maximum heel height would be 3" because 3" heels are worn during many occasions like weddings, parties, and dances. Four-inch heels may be pushing things a bit, so I might suggest a 3" heel. If you really are in the mood and feel like spicing the night up, just go ahead and wear the 4" sandals. :) Whether it may look slutty or not, don't mind what other people think! I would wear what I think makes me feel sexy and attractive, so go ahead and wear what your heart desires!
Oh, and I'm 5'4" :)
