Ordinary carpenters glue or white glue is soluable in water.

Animal hoof or hot glue takes heat. Polyurethane glue cannot be easily disolved. However it is slightly soluable in Naptha or Kerosine. Acrylic glues can be disolved using a caustic soda type of solvent such as Oven Off.
