i am good at telling jokes...making faces...and i can juggle...how far would that get me?

That's probably one of the better questions I've seen in a while.
It makes you think.....
There have been many characters in books and movies that have accomplished/or set out on that task.
It is probably too unrealistic & too dangerous in this day. That's sad.
Anyways, strike up with conversations with everyone you meet on the trip. Ask to help the ones you like or trust. Be honest and hardworking.

Work in orchards and on farms. Brush and groom horses,
rake leaves, sing for tips on street corners, etc. And when
I had a little stash, I'd shop around at flea markets for really
inexpensive but practical things that I could re-sell there also.
I'd find out where other flea markets were along the way and
do the same thing.
