This usually happens to me when I am drying dark colored denim, especially new jeans! If this is not the case, try running your filter under some warm soapy water.... this will clean the residual. Good luck! :)

This probably sounds completely absurd but it could be from the fabric softener or the detergent you use. My fabric softener is blue so maybe if you use too much, it will come off in the dryer.
Otherwise I'd agree with the other person who said to clean it out to get rid of the residue.

I read this in the book I bought my husband for Christmas and unfortunately, it seems to have disappeared. But the reason is that the colour blue is the predominate colour in most garments. It is why belly button fluff is always blue, too.

I really don't know. Mine is always the color of the clothing that has just been dried. Maybe you are using to much fabric softener and the residue is coming off with the lint? Though it seems that in that case all your clothes would also be turning blue. Ya got me.

I thought it will be from the blue colors, but if you say that even reds come out in blue, I am not sure then. Will keep checking your questions, cause now I want to know.

this is simple it has the exact same principle as carrots.
when ever your sick you have carrots even if you haven't ate them for ages. same as blue fluff work out the carrots and you will solve the fluff.

Good question. Must be the detergent or softner you use as mentioned earlier! Mine's always bluish too, but then so is the detergent I use. :o)
