come on man, any of these players will do just fine. give me a great center first. If I had to pick one of these though I would take one that has shown the ability to absolutely take over games in the fourth quarter. which is wade (look at the way he single handidly won games in the fourth quarter of the finals last year) that was something special like jordan used to do. then kobe has shown that ability as well. ANTHONY has never lead his team to a playoff series win, and james has only once and he disappears in some and stinks at free throws.

Well Kobe is getting older and his time is closing, he still plays well but dosent dominate as much as before. D-Wade, lebrona and carmelo are all still pretty young and have a lot of potential. Lebron is strong and is already leading the team, he would be a good player to build around.

Dominant big men win championsips not swingmen. Also the only player you listed there that plays good defense in Kobe. Everyone else is below average in that category. Give me Dwight Howard. He seems to have unlimited potential and is already dominating without any real post moves. Any player that can average 16 ppg just off of being better built than most players is incredible. Once this guy gets some post moves he'll be averaging 25+ ppg. As for defense he's alreayd one of the best at it in the league. championships not swingmen.

Kobe Bryant, has everything. Great scorer, great rebounder, great defender (defend anyone 1-3), clutch shooter and now he's a great team player too. Dwayne Wade depends too much on the drive and he can't guard a three.

Kobe. Despite the of court problems he has had he has still been very consistent throughout his career. I am not a Lakers fan, nor a Kobe lover, however I think that he is probably the best player in the NBA right now.

Kobe would be your best bet because remember he came out of high school so he is not old. He is the best player in the NBA and nobody in the NBA can guard him, and he is also very consistant the other guys have the potintial but they are not on Kobe's level!

D wade, easy. He has the playoff experience (and a ring), the poise, the skills, and the confidence.
But with this years draft Greg Oden is that franchise player, maybe Kevin Durant, but I mean there is plenty of players out there like him. Look at Tim Duncan, put him on any team and they will automatically be a playoff contender.

I would not choose either of those. I would choose Magic Johnson. The reason I would pick him, not only was he a great basketball player and really has a feel for the game. He is a great man and exceptional business man. He would really be able to help you get a new team off the ground and have the insight that would build a great team.

It would be Kobe, but now his career is coming to an end, him being old and all, so I would probably have to say Dwayne Wade.

Of this group, i would probably say Wade. Of the last 25 years, i would say either Magic Johnson or Tim Duncan. It is crucial that you pick someone who is willing to share the wealth and be a good example.
