Yeah, they are all excellent bands and you should be proud of yourself for having a good taste of music. The bands nowdays are not that talented and I can't believe how any of them even get record deals. Back when all the bands above you listed started out, there was a lot more competition out there like the Beatles, the Who, the Eagles etc.. and they had to play as hard as they could to get noticed. I think the music in our generation nowdays is DANGEROUS because people tend to think the same way the music that is popular at the time is. However, I watched the A-Team yesterday and was reminded how bad popular music was when Boy George and Culture Club were on the show epitomizing 80's English rock bands of the era.

Your not the only one... I have every one of those bands tunes in my PC and mp3 player. I attended a Huey Lewis concert in the eighties. The movie "Back to the Future" soundtrack features Huey Lewis and The News. Saw Chicago in concert too - heck they cut about 20 albums - so a lot of people must like them too.

HL&TN was fun music.
All 3 Boston albums are must-own, stratospheric hits !
Kansas had their day. No comparison to Boston.
Could care less for Chicago...but that's just me expressing "More than a feeling" and remember "It's (still) Hip to be Square" !!

I like all those bands too! Right now I would have to say Kansas because I LOVE Dust in the Wind it has really awesome lyrics and I listen to it often since my hubby passed away.

I only know Chicago, but I love this band. Their multiple songs are really good... I'll listen to your other bands because we have probably the same tastes. Thanks ;)
