sole custody is really difficult. You can get joint custody, make sure you get physical custody and then make sure you get the final word on all decision making-that is if he doesn't fight you.

Get an attorney and go to family court. If you are the father you are going to have a fight on your hands, you would most likely get joint custody.

You need to hire a good attorney and go from there. Is the other parent unfit in any way? If not then go for joint and share. Good luck to you and your little girl.

first if all what are you motives? is the child in danger or around bad influences? do you genuinely love and want her? are you trying to get $ and stay out of work ? are you seriously commited? brood over these issues, if so; then proceed to an attorney,
